Wesley Sneijder believes that Holland’s performance against the Czech Republic last night was embarrassing.

A calamitous error in judgment by Daryl Janmaat led to Vaclav Pilar scoring an injury time winner for Czech Republic, making it 2-1.

The former Real Madrid midfielder is disappointed with the result and said that there can be excuses for such a performance.

“I am disappointed too, the performance was not good”, Sneijder was quoted as saying by Voetbal Primeur.

The midfielder feels that some harsh truths need to be spoken to take the squad out of their slumber.
