Former Everton striker Louis Saha feels Roberto Martinez will find it harder in his second season at the club as the element of surprise about his team is not there anymore.

Martinez received widespread praise for his performance at Everton in his first season where he led the side to a fifth place finish in the Premier League.

The Spaniard forked out a club record fee to sign Romelu Lukaku on a permanent deal and added the experienced head of Samuel Eto’o to add depth to the squad this summer.

However, Saha believes Everton will find it harder this season as the club are expected to perform well.

He believes a lot of teams will be more prepared for the Toffees in this campaign and the element of surprise is gone.
