Spain international Fernando Torres is looking forward to making his debut for AC Milan this weekend.

After spending seven years in England, the Spaniard joined AC Milan on a two-year loan deal from Chelsea last month.




Torres said that he is eager to test himself in Italy after spending time in Spain and England.

“I can't wait”, the Spaniard told the club’s official site.
 


“I really wanted to play in Serie A having experienced the Premier League and La Liga.”

The 30-year-old wants to power AC Milan back into the Champions League next season through his goals.

And the former Chelsea star himself is eager to get back to playing in Europe’s elite competition.

“I want to score many goals and help Milan fight for titles and qualify for European competition.

“I want to return to compete amongst the best.”

Torres is in line to make his debut for AC Milan this Sunday against Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

He scored 85 goals in 212 league appearances in England for Liverpool and Chelsea.
