Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini insists that while his side are firm fans of Adrien Rabiot, they are in no way responsible for his current situation at Paris Saint-Germain.

Rabiot has just one year left on his contract at the Parc des Princes and is refusing to sign an extension, citing concerns over a lack of first team football.

It has been claimed Roma have a secret deal to sign Rabiot, while Arsenal are also known to be tracking the France Under-21 midfielder.

However, the Giallorossi have denied such suggestions and today Sabatini insisted that PSG are the ones solely responsible for the current situation regarding the midfielder.

"He is someone we like", Sabatini admitted to Sky Italia.
