Celtic winger Aleksandar Tonev has been accused of racially abusing Aberdeen player Shay Logan during yesterday's Scottish Premiership clash.

Aberdeen have lodged a complaint against the Bulgarian winger, though Celtic have insisted Tonev has denied the accusation made by the Dons defender.



The incident is claimed to have taken place early in the seconf half of the Scottish Premiership clash.

The match, in which Tonev made his debut, ended 2-1 to the hosts at Celtic Park.

 


Tonev joined Celtic in the summer transfer window on loan from Aston Villa.
