Chelsea new boy Loic Remy has hailed team-mate Diego Costa and insisted that he will need to take every opportunity that comes his way in the presence of such a prolific striker.

Remy contributed with his first goal in a blue shirt as his team beat Swansea City 4-2 to maintain their 100 per cent success rate this season.

The French striker, who is expected to play second fiddle to premier striker Costa this season, was particularly impressed with the performance of his "on fire" team-mate and stressed the importance of progressing continuously.

"I have to take my opportunity when I can because Diego Costa is a fantastic striker", Remy told his club's official site.

"To play with this kind of player I have to progress. We try to push behind him and that’s a good thing."
