Leeds United caretaker manager Neil Redfearn believes the club's clash this evening against Bournemouth is one of the toughest tests they will face this term.

Redfearn, who has yet to taste defeat in his two games in charge of the Whites, is a big admirer of the way Bournemouth go about their business and admits he is trying to steer Leeds down a similar path, in order to emulate the Cherries.

Leeds lost 4-1 away at Bournemouth last term and Redfearn is under no illusions about the size of the task in front of his men tonight.

"They're a good side. They're a good football side and I said all along that this is probably the toughest game that we're going to have footballing wise", he told LUTV.

"It's going to be a real test for us because not only are they a good footballing side, they play at a good tempo, they play with passion.

"It's going to be tough for us, and we know that.

"But it's going to be a good test because I think we're going down those lines. It will be a good test to see how far we've come with it."

Redfearn's men claimed a point away at Birmingham City at the weekend, while Bournemouth also played out a draw, holding Rotherham 1-1.
