Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has dubbed his side's performance against Arsenal this evening "perfect" and revealed he loved every second of the Champions League encounter, which his team won 2-0.

Klopp watched his men overpower the Gunners, with goals from Ciro Immobile on the stroke of half-time and then Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang just after the restart proving too much for Arsenal to cope with.

Dortmund had a whole host of chances, being guilty of spurning several opportunities to increase their lead. But Klopp was delighted with what he saw and could not hide his happiness.

"I'm very pleased. After we spoke last night, three players went out of the team because of muscle problems, so it was not my best night. We had to make some decisions and it was a great performance from my team, perfection, really strong", Klopp told Sky Sports.

"We were brave, we were fast, we had everything we need for this game because if you give them one metre space they are so strong.

"I saw some counter pressing situations in the middle of the midfield and it was perfect.

"I enjoyed this game from the first second until the last.

"We did what we have to do to win this game and for us, it was near to perfection."
