Mario Gotze has identified Manchester City’s David Silva as Bayern Munich’s main threat in their Champions League clash.
The English champions will take on their German counterparts at the Allianz Arena in a Champions League Group E fixture tomorrow. CSKA Moscow and Roma are the other two teams in the group.
Gotze, a crucial cog in Pep Guardiola’s side, is looking forward to the big clash against Manchester City and identified Silva as the main threat for the Bavarians.
“David Silva is brilliant”, the German told the club’s official site.
The German World Cup winner feels that the Spaniard is Manchester City’s attacking fulcrum and believes that if Bayern Munich can stop him from playing then they can control the game against the Citizens.

“He likes to play between the lines, and he has the quality to deliver the final ball.
“If we manage to control him we’ll largely have Manchester City under control.”
Silva scored a goal when Manchester City came from two goals down to beat the Bavarians 3-2 at the Allianz Arena last season in a Champions League encounter.
