Bayern Munich new boy Medhi Benatia has described his Champions League debut for the club as a "dream", insisting that it was a proud moment for him.

The occasion was even more special for the former Roma man as he was able to manage his first appearance in Bayern Munich colours too during the match.

And the 27-year-old is visibly excited about the experience, adding that both Bayern Munich and the Champions League are something special.

"Every player dreams of being in the Champions League. It’s the biggest club competition of all", Benatia told his club's official site.
