Paddy Kenny has bounced back into the game following his departure from Leeds United earlier this summer, signing a deal with Bolton Wanderers.

The experienced custodian was sidelined at Leeds this summer after owner Massimo Cellino asked for the 36-year-old not to be considered for first team selection.

It was claimed at the time that Cellino, who considers the number 17 unlucky, had chosen to offload Kenny due to his birthday being on the 17th May.

Now the shot-stopper has headed to Bolton, penning a short-term deal with Dougie Freedman's men.

Kenny becomes the Trotters' second signing of the week following the capture of out-of-contract forward Max Clayton, who parted ways with Crewe in the summer.
