Arsenal shot-stopper David Ospina has revealed that he finally feels well-settled at the north London club.

The Colombian international joined the Gunners from French outfit OGC Nice this summer for a transfer fee of around £4m on a five-year contract.

A good World Cup with Colombia convinced Arsene Wenger that Ospina can be a good backup to Wojciech Szczesny at the club and even keep the Pole on his toes for the number one goalkeeping spot.

Ospina insists that he feels settled at the club and said that Arsenal have done all they can to help him settle down in a new country.

"I feel very well and already settled", he told Arsenal's site.

"At Arsenal you can really focus on your job since the club provides with anything you may need. Once settled, I am trying to make the most of this opportunity I’ve been given.”

The Colombian admits that he was not at the peak of his fitness when he joined the Gunners, but confirmed that he has finally recovered from various niggles and feels completely fit and ready for the challenges ahead.

"Physically I feel strong and one hundred per cent recovered. I was injured when I arrived to the team and that’s not an ideal situation.

“Injuries don’t help at all when you are trying to settle in, but thank God now I am in a good condition."

Despite being Colombia’s first choice goalkeeper, Ospina is playing second fiddle to Szczesny at Arsenal and is yet to make an appearance for the club.
