Juventus are confident that Arturo Vidal is completely recovered from a recent injury, however they are determined to treat the midfielder with kid gloves.

Vidal struggled with a knee niggle throughout the World Cup and it was widely speculated worries over his knee were the reason Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal did not push ahead with his signing over the summer.

The Chilean then suffered another injury setback while on international duty in the recent break, which once again left him sidelined.

However, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Vidal has now completely recovered.

Juventus though are not willing to rush the midfielder back to action, as they look to ensure there is no recurrence of any of his recent injuries.

The Bianconeri are instead aiming to once again be ready to play Vidal from the start when they face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on 1st October.

Juventus beat Bayern Munich to the signature of Vidal in 2011 and the midfielder quickly established himself as a fixture in the club's starting eleven.

He has won three consecutive Serie A titles with the club.
