Arsenal grabbed three points away to Aston Villa today, thrashing their hosts 3-0 and subjecting the Villans to their first Premier League defeat this season.

The Gunners scored three goals within four minutes, with Mesut Ozil and both Danny Welbeck both finding the back of the net, along with an own goal by Aly Cissokho in the 36th minute.

Welbeck got off the mark for Arsenal, scoring his first goal for the club following his summer move to the Emirates Stadium. The former Manchester United forward was also involved in the first goal, providing an assist for team-mate Ozil.

It was Arsenal's second victory out of five in the league to date, after beating Crystal Palace 2-1 in their opening game. They currently lie in fourth place with nine points.
