Serie A giants Roma have become the latest side to join the race for 15-year-old Norwegian sensation Martin Odegaard.

The midfielder, who became the youngest ever player to play for Norway earlier this year when he turned out in a friendly against the United Arab Emirates, is a hot property.

Odegaard, who turns out for Stromsgodset at club level, has attracted attention from a whole host of Europe's elite.

Manchester United have been consistently at the front of the queue for the Norwegian, while Real Madrid have promised to make him a millionaire if he agrees to continue his football education at the Bernabeu.

Italian champions Juventus, Dutch giants Ajax and English side Liverpool are also keeping a close watch on Odegaard's situation.

However, Odegaard now has another admirer in the shape of Rudi Garcia's Roma, according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

The Giallorossi, who finished second in Serie A last season, are hoping to persuade the Norwegian a move to the Italian capital is in his best interests.
