Arsenal have confirmed that Theo Walcott will be back in training after the international break next month.

The England international suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury in January and has been sidelined for more than eight months.

However, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger confirmed that Walcott and another young talent, Serge Gnabry, will be available for training next month.

“Theo is doing very well, and Gnabry is doing very well too. They should be available after the international break for full training”, Wenger said via his club's site.

The Gunners will host Southampton in their third round League Cup fixture tomorrow at the Emirates Stadium and Wenger confirmed that a number of young players will be given an opportunity to impress.
