Former Fulham boss Felix Magath is eager to prove his credentials in England at another club.

The German was sacked by Fulham last week after the club made a disastrous start to the season in the Championship, being rooted to the bottom of the league table on one point.

He was appointed as Fulham manager in February this year with the Cottagers still in the Premier League, but the German failed to stop the club from sliding down to the second tier of English football.

Magath defended his spell at Fulham earlier this week by saying that English football is unwilling to learn from the German way of football.

"I don't want to sound arrogant, but I am convinced that English football has something to learn from German qualities",  he said.

"Sadly they're not that prepared to listen."

The German, who has vast managerial experience in his homeland, still feels he can contribute to English football and is eager for one more crack at managing an English club.

"I'm going to stay in England and I will see what comes", Magath told Sport Bild.

"I still believe my methods can still help at some clubs."

Magath won three Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg, but failed to deliver the goods in his first job outside Germany at Fulham.
