Tottenham Hotspur winger Nacer Chadli believes a point from the club's north London derby against Arsenal is not a bad return and has stated his belief that Spurs caused the Gunners real problems.

Chadli was the man to give Tottenham the lead at the Emirates Stadium when he struck in the 56th minute, shocking Arsenal in the process.

Spurs did all they could to frustrate Arsene Wenger's men, defending stubbornly throughout the match and then hitting the Gunners on the counter attack.

However, Arsenal started to dominate possession, bossing the game, and eventually got the breakthrough when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain slotted home in the 77th minute when Tottenham failed to clear an Alexis Sanchez shot.

"I'm very happy to score in the derby. Erik [Lamela] gave me the ball and I just tried to shoot into the far corner", Chadli told Sky Sports.

"We defended well and with the pace we have we could cause Arsenal problems.

"As a team we fought for each other and that is important for the team spirit. We have one point at the Emirates and that is not bad", the Belgian winger added.
