Celtic manager Ronny Deila has waved away concerns over striker John Guidetti's fitness and expects to have the Swede available to face Hamilton next Sunday.

Guidetti scored both Celtic's goals in a 2-1 win away at St Mirren at the weekend, but was forced from the pitch in the 66th minute, clutching his leg.

The striker, on loan from Manchester City, later explained he was suffering from cramp and Deila does not expect him to miss the clash against Hamilton.

"John has been fantastic since he came and he scores goals", Deila explained to his club's site.

"He’s hungry and has brought a lot of enthusiasm into the dressing room. He has cramp on his hamstring, but he’ll be ready for next Sunday", the Norwegian added.

Guidetti will not be able to feature in Celtic's Europa League clash with Dinamo Zagreb this Thursday due to his signing missing the registration deadline.

Deila is expected to turn to another summer signing in the shape of Stefan Scepovic, who replaced Guidetti against St Mirren, to fill the gap.
