Eden Hazard admits he is at a loss as to why he is unable to reproduce his Chelsea form on the international stage for Belgium.

Hazard is considered one of the most talented young players in European football and regularly produces the goods for Chelsea at club level in the Premier League and the Champions League.

However, he has struggled to wield the same influence on the international stage with Belgium and has just six goals in 50 games to his name.

"I really do not know why I cannot bring the same level to the national team as at Chelsea", Hazard told Het Nieuwsblad.

"I try to find an answer, but so far I have not found one", he continued.

"I will just try to give my best in every match."

Hazard turned out for Belgium at the World Cup in Brazil this summer, helping Marc Wilmots' men to reach the quarter-finals of the competition.

However, despite playing against Argentina in the quarter-finals, Hazard was unable to inspire a Belgium victory, as the Red Devils lost the match 1-0.
