Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that Joe Hart will return to his side for their Champions League clash against Roma on Tuesday.

The England international was dropped by Pellegrini for the Citizens’ 4-2 win over Hull City on Saturday, with summer signing Willy Caballero making his Premier League debut at the KC Stadium.

However, the Chilean tactician explained that Hart will be back between the sticks against the Italian outfit.

"Yes [Hart will play against Roma], he's in a very good moment also", Pellegrini told the BBC.

Manchester City have already lost their first Champions League game, 1-0 against Bayern Munich two weeks ago.

Hence Pellegrini underlined the importance of his side claiming the full three points against Roma at the Etihad Stadium.

"It's a crucial game because Roma won their first match and we lost", he added.

"It will be a very tough group and we cannot drop points here at home. It's very important for us to win that game."

Manchester City, who are currently third in the Premier League with 13 points from six games, are in Group E of the Champions League.
