Danny Welbeck has hailed his first ever senior hat-trick after he struck three times for Arsenal in a 4-1 win over Galatasaray this evening.

With Arsenal having lost their opening Champions League group game against Borussia Dortmund, they headed into the contest at the Emirates Stadium needing victory.

And Welbeck quickly put them on their way with a quickfire brace in the 22nd minute and 30th minute.

Alexis Sanchez then added a third for Arsenal in the 41st minute before Welbeck completed his hat-trick in the 52nd minute.

Even a sending off for Gunners goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and Galatasaray scoring the resultant penalty soon after could not stop Welbeck purring.
