Celtic assistant manager John Collins has emphasised the importance of the Bhoys winning their home matches in the Europa League, due in large part to the fact that the group they are in is very even.

The Scottish champions find themselves in Group D in the Europa League with Dinamo Zagreb, Astra Giurgiu and Red Bull Salzburg.

Celtic drew their group opener away against Salzburg 2-2 and tonight welcome Dinamo Zagreb, who beat Astra 5-1 in their first game, to Celtic Park.

Collins believes the game is crucial as the group is set to be very tight.

"They're all teams that are disappointed not to be in the Champions League and they'll have something to prove", he told Celtic TV.

"There's not a lot in it. I don't think there's one big favourite for the group.

"So we'll be in the mix and I think it's all about picking up three points at home – that's important. You've got to win your home games."

Dinamo Zagreb could only draw their Croatian top flight game last weekend, with a clash against Slaven Belupo finishing 0-0.
