Leeds United manager Darko Milanic concedes he expected Casper Sloth to trouble Reading last night at Elland Road, with the Dane being deployed in a midfield diamond.

There were little in the way of chances for the Whites against the Royals, with the two playing out a 0-0 draw which left each side feeling they were good value for the point.

Milanic was disappointed however with the lack of chances his side created in the final third, especially as he had been counting on Sloth to wreak havoc on the Reading defence.

"We played with a diamond. I wanted Sloth with his position, there between the lines, to make life difficult for the opponents. But we didn't do good enough", the Slovenian explained at a press conference.

Milanic also believes that Leeds' dip in form, with the Whites having won three in four before his arrival, is the natural result of having an inexperienced team.

"It's not easy to keep stability.

"They played four games very well, but to have stability and play all the Championship well, they need experience."
