Cristiano Ronaldo is delighted that he is still held in such high regard at Manchester United, but has ruled out leaving Real Madrid to return to Old Trafford.

Manchester United fans recently paid for a banner to be flown from a plane over Villarreal's ground when Ronaldo's Real Madrid took on the Yellow Submarine, asking the Portuguese to return.

Ronaldo finds such acts flattering, however is happy plying his trade in the Spanish capital with Los Blancos.

"I've always said that I have family in Manchester, but now I feel good and I want to stay here", Ronaldo was quoted as saying by Voetbal Primeur.

"I'm glad that they still have so much affection for me", he continued.
