Manchester United moved to hand former player Ji-sung Park a role as an ambassador at the club.

The South Korean turned out at Old Trafford from 2005 until 2012 and picked up a whole host of trophies, including four Premier League titles, one Champions League, three League Cups and one FIFA Club World Cup.



Park will work for his former club to promote their work in the community as well as attending functions and events to represent Manchester United.

The club will introduce Park in his new ambassadorial role prior to their clash against Everton on Sunday.

 


The former midfielder told the club's site: "I have fond memories of my time at Manchester United and I am delighted and honoured to have become an ambassador for the club.
