Belgium international striker Divock Origi believes that Liverpool have the firepower to cope without his services for the season, with his switch to Anfield not set to take place until 2015.

Liverpool bought Origi from Lille this summer, but the French side insisted on having the striker back for a season-long loan in order to agree to the sale.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has admitted he would like to be able to call upon Origi for this term, but the Belgian will not be at his disposal until next summer.

And with Liverpool having Mario Balotelli and Daniel Sturridge to field in attack, Origi is sure they will cope without him.

"Balotelli is a great player and Sturridge scored a lot of goals last season", the Belgian was quoted as saying by Voetbal Primeur.

"On that level I do not think they will have a lot of problems", Origi continued.

"Of course it is nice that Rodgers wants me there though."

Origi has hit the back of the net four times in all competitions for Lille this season so far.
