Lukas Podolski is unhappy with his situation at Arsenal, but says he has not told the Gunners he wants to leave, nor has he spoken with any interested parties.

The Germany international forward was wanted by both Juventus and Galatasaray over the summer, but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger was keen to keep him at the Emirates Stadium, a desire which only became stronger when Olivier Giroud picked up an ankle injury towards the end of August.

But Podolski has continued to enjoy only fringe status at Arsenal and regularly warms the bench next to Wenger.

It is a situation the 29-year-old admits he is not at all comfortable with, telling German news agency DPA: "I can't be satisfied with the situation I have at Arsenal."

However, the former 1.FC Koln man insists he has not started the process of heading towards the Emirates Stadium exit door.
