Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane found Jose Mourinho’s behaviour in the dying seconds of the encounter between Chelsea and Aston Villa last month “a disgrace”.

Chelsea beat Aston Villa 3-0 at Stamford Bridge on 27th September. Mourinho tried to shake hands with Paul Lambert and Keane even before the referee blew the final whistle.

The Villa manager ignored the Portuguese’s gesture and the reaction from his assistant Keane was even more scathing.

And the former Manchester United midfielder has come down heavily on the Chelsea manager as he launched his new autobiography.

"It's disgraceful”, Keane was quoted as saying by ITV.

"I've seen him doing it to other managers, it is a disgrace. The game is still going on. You wouldn't do that on a Sunday morning, you would get knocked out."

It remains to be seen how Keane and Lambert handle Mourinho when Chelsea visit Villa Park in February next year.
