Jurgen Klopp's Borussia Dortmund are the latest side to register an interest in Norwegian wunderkind Martin Odegaard.

The 15-year-old midfielder, who plays his club football in his homeland for Stromsgodset, is wanted by a who's who of European football's elite, with his potential clearly having been marked out.

Indeed, Odegaard became the youngest ever player to turn out for Norway earlier this year when he appeared in a friendly against the United Arab Emirates.

He is already wanted by Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, though his father has promised no move will be completed before the domestic campaign in Norway is over.

And according to Norwegian broadcaster TV2, Borussia Dortmund can now be added to the list of Odegaard's suitors.

Dortmund boss Klopp is a firm fan of the midfielder and would love to welcome him into the club's ranks. However, the Bundesliga outfit look set to face fierce opposition for Odegaard's signature.

Odegaard is currently on international duty with Norway and was on the bench for the country's 3-0 Euro 2016 qualifying win over Malta on Friday evening.
