Former Chelsea and Inter striker Hernan Crespo admits he would love to manage a big club, such as another of his old teams, Lazio.

The Argentine, who last played for Parma in 2012, had a brief but successful spell with Lazio between 2000 and 2002.




Crespo is now looking to progress in management, having taken a role with Parma's youngsters, and is dreaming of taking charge of a big club.

"Coaching an important team like Lazio is definitely a goal", the 39-year-old told Radio IES.

 


And his first steps on the coaching ladder are being taken at Parma, where he feels he can hone his skills working with the club's young talents.

"I preferred to start at home [in Parma] even though I already had offers from top teams in Argentina.

"I was advised to start with the youngsters because it is an important springboard for the future", the former striker added.

Crespo counts Chelsea, AC Milan, Inter and Parma amongst his former clubs and won 64 caps at international level with Argentina, scoring 35 goals in the process.
