Juventus are keen to tie down Argentine striker Carlos Tevez to a new contract in Turin.

The former Manchester City striker has been in scintillating form this season and is the top scorer in Serie A with six goals to his name.

Tevez joined Juventus last summer from Manchester City and his current deal with the club expires at the end of the 2015/16 season.

It is believed that the Argentine is keen to rejoin his former club Boca Juniors in Argentina after his contract expires in two years' time but the Bianconeri have other plans for him.

Given his form, Juventus are keen to extend Tevez’s stay in Italy and are ready to offer a contract extension to the Argentine, according to Tuttosport.
