Every team in Scotland want to win against Celtic and so the Bhoys need to be sharp against all opponents, Celtic playmaker Jo Inge Berget insists.

The defending Scottish champions surrendered three points to current league leaders Hamilton earlier this month and are currently placed sixth in the table with 14 points from eight matches.

While the 1-0 loss was disappointing, the Cardiff contracted player believes, he is also keen to put the defeat behind them and fight back against Ross County this weekend.

The 24-year-old also refutes the opinion that the Scottish league is a stroll in the park for the Hoops, asserting that his team have to be at their best every time they take to the pitch in order keep themselves going.

“People on the outside like to think it’s a walk in the park for Celtic but it’s not", Berget told his club's official site.

"The teams are good and we have to be at our best to win matches, so it shows it’s a decent standard.

“The results show that when we aren’t at our top level, teams can beat us.

"For every other team, playing Celtic is their biggest game of the season, and we know that, so we need to be sharp in every match.

"If we are not at 100 per cent, the opposition will have a chance against us.

“We can’t lose two-in-a-row in the league and we need to win and that’s what it’s about – getting those three points and going on a roll.”

Berget joined Celtic on loan from Cardiff this summer and has managed a total of eight appearances for Ronny Deila's side, having scored two goals.
