Norwegian sensation Martin Odegaard continued to put on a show for his suitors today, helping his side Stromsgodset to a 2-1 win over Lillestrom in the Tippeligaen.

Odegaard, who earlier this month became the youngest ever player to play in a European Championship qualifying match when he turned out for Norway against Bulgaria, hit both goals for his side.

The 15-year-old midfielder hit the back of the net in the 21st and 41st minutes, putting Lillestrom on the rack.

Former Liverpool defender Frode Kippe pulled one back for the visitors in the 85th minute, but it proved nothing more than a consolation.

Odegaard is not expected to remain in Norwegian football beyond the end of this season.

The midfielder is wanted by a virtual who's who of European football.

Barcelona have invited him to tour their facilities, while Manchester United, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax and Real Madrid are all also keen on securing his services.

Odegaard's father however has insisted that his son's development will come before any financial gain.

Hans-Erik Odegaard said last month: "Of course, I cannot mention any names, but if you mention the name of a club to me you can guarantee they've stopped for a look.

"The development of Martin is paramount

"Once we start thinking about other things that stalls his development."
