Carlo Ancelotti is eyeing a return to the Premier League after his stint at Real Madrid.

Ancelotti, who won the Champions League in his first term at Real Madrid, was in charge of Chelsea between 2009 and 2011.

He won the league and cup double in his first season with the Blues, but a trophyless 2010/11 campaign led to his sacking at Stamford Bridge.

But Ancelotti has fond memories of his time at Chelsea and said that he would love to manage a club in the Premier League again after his stint with Real Madrid.

He added that after his time at the Bernabeu, he will either quit or return to the Premier League for one more crack at management in England.

"I'd like to return. It depends how long this adventure lasts. If it lasts a long time I will retire after it. But if it doesn't then I will come to England. For sure.

"The day I leave Madrid there are two solutions. Either I quit football or I come back to England."

Ancelotti has won the Champions League three times as a manager, twice at AC Milan and last season with Real Madrid.
