Saido Berahino admits he felt he would get chances to score against Manchester United and backed himself to do the business when the opportunity presented itself.

Manchester United fell behind when Stephane Sessegnon hit a superb drive in the eighth minute, putting West Brom 1-0 ahead in front of the home faithful.

However, a substitution from Louis van Gaal drew the Red Devils level just after the break, with Marouane Fellaini levelling.

But the Baggies hit back, Berahino scoring in the 66th minute, breaking through, avoiding the offside trap and placing the ball past David de Gea.

Manchester United would not be beaten though and Daley Blind scored his first goal for the club in the 87th minute to ensure the game finished 2-2 with a point apiece.

Berahino was asked whether he felt he would get chances against Manchester United, and told Sky Sports: "Yes, I felt like if I stayed focused and if that chance came I backed myself to take it.

"I'm enjoying my football and I'm letting my football do the talking."

The striker though admits West Brom are disappointed to have conceded a late goal to miss out on the three points.

"To get the second goal was good, but we're just disappointed to concede."
