The agent of Sampdoria striker Manolo Gabbiadini admits his client is proud at interest from clubs abroad.

The Italian hitman, who has been in superb form in Serie A this season, has been strongly linked with both Atletico Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur.

His agent does not expect the striker to exit Italy before the end of the season, ruling out a January switch, but said the interest is a source of pride for the player.

"Obviously they [the links] are a source of pride, but with the market Manolo has decided to postpone everything until the end of the season", Silvio Pagliari explained to Tutto Mercato.

"We have fully embraced the cause of Sampdoria and only in June will we begin to talk about the market."

Pagliari also admitted that Juventus, who own half of Gabbiadini's economic rights, will be involved in the decision over the striker's future.

Gabbiadini has so far hit four goals in five league games.

"Together with Sampdoria and Juventus we will take the best decision."
