Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus has called for unity from his side, following their 2-1 loss to 1. FC Koln at the weekend.

BVB, who have now picked up just a solitary point from their last five Bundesliga outings, are currently 14th in the standings with seven points from eight games.

However, Reus feels his side can hit the road to success again if they keep working hard and rise from the bottom “as a team.”

“We need to fight our way from the bottom as a team”, the German international told his club’s official site.

“I have been through it before enough times, and it will not be easy.

“We need to keep working hard, and with that work I am sure that we shall soon be on the road to success again.”

Dortmund, who are currently 13 points adrift of leaders Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, will next face Galatasaray in a Champions League fixture on Wednesday.

Despite their poor start to the domestic league campaign, Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently atop Group D of the Champions League with six points from two games, following their 2-0 and 3-0 wins over Arsenal and Anderlecht respectively.
