Darko Milanic has denied suggestions that his Leeds United side lack genuine fight.

Leeds took the lead against Rotherham United on Friday, but crumbled to a 2-1 defeat in the fire of a Yorkshire derby at the New York Stadium.

Milanic has yet to lead the Whites to victory in any of his four Championship games in charge.

But he refuses to believe his Leeds side are not prepared to put in the hard yards.

"When I see my players they want to fight, they want to play good and they want to fight too", the Slovenian told LUTV.

Milanic also revealed he has changed his thinking somewhat for this evening's game against Norwich as a result of what he witnessed against Rotherham.

"It changed with what I saw in this game [against Rotherham]. This means we have to think about the game, what we did good, what we did wrong, what we have to do better", he added.
