Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen believes that boss Ronny Deila's preferred style of play chimes perfectly with what Bhoys fans want to see from their team.

Deila had a rocky start to life in charge of Celtic, watching the side slip out of the Champions League and into the Europa League this season, while their Scottish Premiership form has been mixed.

However, Celtic beat Ross County 5-0 at the weekend and sit joint-top of their Europa League group.

And Johansen feels Deila certainly has the Scottish champions on the right track.

"The manager is challenging people, which is good", the midfielder told a press conference.

"But I think he is doing the right thing and playing the football the fans want to see.

"The way we are trying to play is the right way to go and I think we will start to get the results as well, so it will look good in the future", he added.

Johansen played under Deila at Norwegian side Stromsgodset and feels that the style of football he wants to impose at Celtic is similar to that he preached in Norway.

"I don't think the manager has changed much since I have known him.

"He believes in the way he wants to play and he wants to get it into the team."
