Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that Barcelona failed to realise how good Cesc Fabregas is.
The Spaniard completed an emotional return to his boyhood club from Arsenal in 2011, but after spending three seasons in Catalunya, Fabregas joined Chelsea this summer.
Since his return to England, the 27-year-old has displayed fine form for his new club. He has scored twice and provided nine assists in his eleven appearances for the Blues.
Mourinho is extremely delighted with the performance of his summer signing and said that Fabregas is better than he initially thought.
The Portuguese also stated that Barcelona failed to properly utilise a quality footballer and said that the Catalan giants never knew how good Fabregas really is.

“He is better than I thought”, Mourinho was quoted as saying by Voetbal Primeur.
“Cesc is a great guy and a great professional.
“Apparently Barcelona never understood how good he really is. He was often played out of position.
“But I knew many years ago that Fabregas is a top player.”
