Nemanja Vidic says he is doing his best at Inter and is sure the Italian giants will soon see him at the peak of his game.

The Serbian centre-back joined Inter from Manchester United in the summer and was tipped to be a key man in the Nerazzurri's revival this term.

But Vidic has seen his performances come under fire as part of a leaky Inter backline, with ten goals conceded in just seven Serie A games, to leave the club sitting 11th.

Vidic feels he may need some time to adapt to Italian football, but, speaking ahead of tomorrow's Europa League match against Saint-Etienne, told reporters he is sure of eventually showing his best.

"I try to train the best to adapt to this type of defence and continue to give my best and always look to play better in this three-man defence", he said, referring to the three-man backline Inter have introduced.

"It's not for me to say if I play good or bad. It's for others to make these assessments.

"I respect everyone's opinions, but I am doing my best.

"I feel very good here and I think I'm doing reasonably well. You will see the best Vidic though when the whole team improves and I hope to be part of this process."
