Manchester United striker Will Keane has lifted the lid on who he feels are the top four players at the club to join himself in a five-a-side team in training.

Keane has steered away from the club's new signings, despite Manchester United snapping up superstars Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao over the summer, while Argentina defender Marcos Rojo, another new arrival, also does not get a look-in.

Indeed, asked for his dream Manchester United five-a-side team, including himself, Keane told the club's site: "My number one pick would have to be Michael Carrick.

"Whenever we're in training, the majority of the time his team seems to win because he dictates the play. He has to be up there", he continued.

"We'd need a defender and Chris Smalling is always tough to play against. He doesn't give you a yard of space.

"David [de Gea] would be in net, but he's got good feet as well and is technically good.

"Probably 'Wazza' [Wayne Rooney] would complete the side because he's such an all-round player and is so committed", Keane added.

The 21-year-old striker, who has spent time on loan at Wigan and QPR, will be looking to catch manager Louis van Gaal's eye this season.
