Leeds United starlet Sam Byram believes the club's squad has greatly increased in quality after a busy summer transfer window, however as a result time will be needed before the Whites can show their best.

The Yorkshire giants were extremely active over the summer and drafted in a number of new players, the majority from Italy.

They have endured managerial changes and mixed results, with current boss Darko Milanic still looking for his first win after four games in charge.

Leeds drew 1-1 away at Norwich City last night, picking up another Championship point and were forced to withstand heavy pressure for most of the game.

Byram can smell improvement and is sure Leeds have more quality now than last term, but he also thinks time is needed.

"We've got a great squad. You can see some of the quality that's come in and it's just about linking up together, finding the balance between the players and trying to put some results together", the right-back explained to LUTV.

"The quality that's come in…it's just about bonding together and gelling and showing that on the pitch."

Leeds are next in action this coming Saturday when they welcome Wolves to Elland Road. The Whites currently sit 15th in the Championship with 16 points from 13 games.
