Celtic manager Ronny Deila is wary of Romanian club FC Astra enjoying a new manager boost ahead of his side's Europa League clash this evening.

Former Olympiacos boss Oleg Protasov has been drafted in at the side which finished second in the Romanian top flight last term, in response to a campaign which has seen the club win once in their last eight games.

Deila knows Astra arrive at Celtic Park in less than perfect form, but is aware of the effect that a new manager can often have at a club.

"I think they’ve had problems with travelling before but I hope we can beat them in a real way", he said via his club's site.

"The change of manager could give them a bit of momentum but we are prepared and know the team and have seen a lot of their matches.

"What will happen with their new manager is not easy to say."

But Deila is confident that if Celtic can operate at their best they will be in with every chance of victory.

"What is important is our performance. If that’s good then we know we have a chance."
