David Luiz has denied having any issue whatsoever with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

The Brazilian defender departed Chelsea this summer to join Paris Saint-Germain, after the French side agreed a fee of €50m with the Blues.

Luiz had often been dropped by Mourinho, who it was claimed was not convinced about his defensive abilities.

But Luiz insists he had no issue with Mourinho and simply wanted the new challenge he felt PSG had placed in front of him. Indeed, the 27-year-old claims Chelsea even offered him a new deal.
