Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is unhappy with his side's defending in their Europa League clash against Asteras Tripolis this evening, despite Spurs running out 5-1 winners at White Hart Lane.

Pochettino saw his side take the lead through Harry Kane in the 13th minute, before Erik Lamela doubled their advantage with a superb curling strike, a rabona type shot, in the 29th minute.

Tottenham grabbed a third when Lamela struck again in the 66th minute, before Kane completed his hat-trick with goals in the 75th and 81st minutes.

The evening did end on a sour note after goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was sent off and Asteras Tripolis scored from the resultant free-kick in the final minute of the game.

And despite the win, Pochettino is less than happy.

"Happy with the result, but we need to improve. I'm not satisfied. For me the result is important to get the three points, but the last goal makes me unsatisfied", the Argentine told ITV.

"I saw it on the TV [Lloris’ sending off] and for me it was not a sending off.

"I am unhappy about the last two or three minutes of the game. But I am happy with the three points."

Pochettino also saluted Lamela for his sublime strike, commenting: "Yes, it was an unbelievable goal and I'm happy with the result and looking forward, but it's only three points."
