Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reported that Theo Walcott will be involved in the club's clash next week against Burnley.

Walcott picked up a cruciate knee ligament injury during the Gunners' FA Cup clash against Tottenham Hotspur in January and as a result has been absent since.

However, the England winger has been continuing his recovery and although tomorrow's match against Sunderland will come too soon, Wenger is eyeing him being involved against Burnley.

"Theo Walcott will be involved next week", Wenger told a press conference this morning, while also confirming Jack Wilshere is suspended for the Sunderland clash.

"He has to get used to contact again", Wenger added on Walcott.

"It takes time to get used to being kicked again."

And he also expressed his admiration for the winger, saying: "After seeing what he has gone through over the last nine months you respect him more."

While Walcott is on the recovery trail, defender Laurent Koscielny however remains out and Wenger cannot confirm when the Frenchman will be available once again.

"I cannot give you any date", he said.

"I hope he will be available after the next international break."
