Jose Mourinho, whose Chelsea side visit Old Trafford to play Manchester United on Sunday, won't be drawn on assessing the Red Devils' title chances.

Louis van Gaal's Manchester United are currently ten points behind league leaders Chelsea after just eight games. However, Van Gaal recently commented that his side are still capable of winning the title.

Mourinho worked under Van Gaal at Barcelona for several years and is not in the mood to pick a fight with the Dutchman by offering an opposing view.

"I don't want to analyse that", he told a press conference.

"I'm not going to comment on Louis' words and I won't analyse Manchester United."

The Portuguese tactician also claimed that playing Manchester United is always a big game for Chelsea, regardless of who is in the dugout at Old Trafford.

"Man United is Man United. For me it doesn't matter the manager, it doesn't matter the moment, it doesn't matter the table, it doesn't matter the players.

"Man United is Man United and I always look at them independent of these factors."

Mourinho is looking forward to the trip, with fond memories of his previous visits with several clubs.

"I like to play big matches. I like to play against the best teams, I like to play in the most difficult stadiums.

"I know the risk of not getting a positive result is bigger in these matches, but I enjoy these matches.

"I like to go there."
