Juventus have confirmed that Paul Pogba has signed a fresh deal which will keep him at the club until 2019.

Pogba, whose present deal with the Italian giants was set to expire in 2016, was linked with a move to a whole host of Europe's elite in the summer transfer window, including former club Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Arsenal.




The 21-year-old joined the Bianconeri from the Red Devils in 2012 and has since gone on to become a key player for Juventus, also establishing himself with the France national team.

And Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta revealed via a statement on Twitter that the youngster has put pen to paper on a new five-year deal with the Italian champions.
 


“Marotta: Paul Pogba has just renewed his contract with us until 2019", the post read.

Pogba has thus far amassed 97 appearances in all competitions for Juventus, scoring 15 times and providing 18 assists.

He also has 20 caps and four goals for France to his name.
